Just received an email from our long-time supporting customer, to whom has just bought a new system from us and was wondering where is her favorite MineSweeper and Solitaire game in her new system.

Pre-installed with Microsoft Windows 7 Professional, her new system has almost all the games disabled by default, by Microsoft, of course. The reason is probably Microsoft’s way of telling users that this is a business system and not a gaming one!

Anyway, to turn on the default games back again, just follow the steps below and you can have fun while you work then (just wonder how to do both at the same time ??)

Go to Control Panel

Click on <<Programs and Features>> and then click on Turn Windows Features On/Off on the left panel.

A dialog box will be shown, as seen below:

Turn Windows Features On or Off

Tick the Games option to enable all games or select whichever you want by putting a tick next to the games.

Have fun!

This price increase is global and the increment will be 7% for .COM domains and 10% for .NET domains. This increase will be passed on to domain registrars and unfortunately, to consumers like you. The price increase is for new registration and renewal of current holding domains of yours.

We understand your need for these domains and we understand that the price increment might be too sudden for you to take action with it, so, in order to smoother the price increase, we will NOT make any changes to our prices for the .COM and .NET domains until August 1st, 2010, and during this time, you still get to enjoy the same price for your new registration or renewal for the .COM and .NET domains.

Yes, we are absorbing the price increment for ONE whole month and as many domains as you need!

Do act now before we increase our price too and you can even purchase or renew for multiple years to lock in long-term savings. Don’t wait to pay more.

Contact us here and tell us which domains you are eyeing on and we’ll give you a quotation for it.

The WORM component spreads through computer devices that are detected by infected systems and will automatically execute an autorun.inf file as soon as a user activates an infected device. In addition, the malware deploys a stealth technique by using a rootkit component to prevent itself from being discovered.

The main payload of this attack is an URL to establish a connection to a malicious website that may enable cyber-criminals to gather information and to further compromise an infected system.

If you have receive such an email, please delete the mail without opening the attachment.
“It signals the Government’s ongoing committment to help businesses create a pro-family environment for Singapore and reaffirms the Government’s goal in making Singapore the best place for families and children,” said Mrs Mildred Tan, Co-chair of Business For Families Council (BFC).

Businesses can apply for funding support to help defray costs incurred in infrastructure, traning and business consultancy to make their business more family-friendly. Since introduced in 2007, 30 buinesses have received funding support under the grant.

This scheme was actually enhanced in January 2010 to allow firms to claim up to 70% instead of 50%, of the costs incurred in adopting family-friendly measures for customers.

Car Times human resource manager Agnes Cheng said the local car dealership plans to use the grant to make showrooms safer for children and more comfortable for the elderly, who sometimes accompany their customers.

If you do not apply a fraction format to a cell before you enter a fraction into it, Excel will convert the fraction into a date. For example, if you enter 1/50 into a cell, Excel immediately converts it to Jan-50. If you then try to reformat the same cell to a fraction, Excel converts it to 18264, the internal number that represents Jan-50. In that case, if you want Excel to recognize your cell entries as fractions, you must apply the appropriate fraction format to the cell before you enter the data.

For example, say you are importing a column of data from an Access database table that contains fractions such as 1/50, 2/70, and 30/65. You will need to format the column of cells containing the data to an appropriate fraction format before importing. Follow these steps:

Select the column that will contain the fractional data.

Right-click the selection.

Select Format Cells.

In the Number tab, under Category, select Fraction.

Under Type, select Up To Two Digits (21/25), then click OK.

Now, when you import the data to that column, Excel will format each entry as a fraction. Keep in mind that if the data contained fractions such as 30/750, you would select Up To Three Digits (312/943) in Step 5. If you wanted to display your data as fractions over 100 (for example, 30/65 displayed as 46/100), you would select As Hundreds (30/100) in Step 5.

Alternately, if you won’t be using the fractions in calculations, you can prevent Excel from changing your entries to dates by applying the Text format to the cell before you enter the data. In that case, in Step 4 select Text under the Category list, and then click OK.

Access 2007 makes it easy to build a graph control for your form that will display calculated data–and often better than with a text form control. For example, say your employee database includes two tables: one with employee data and one with data about hours worked during 2007. The database also contains a November Hours Worked query that includes the Last Name, First Name, and Employee ID fields from the Employee Data table, and the Week Ending and Hours Worked fields for November from the 2007 Hours Worked table. You create a form based on the query that includes all of the fields. To add a chart to the form that graphs the total hours worked for each employee for the month of November, follow these steps:

Open the form in Design view.

In the Design tab under Forms Design tools, click the Insert Chart tool in the Controls group.

Click and drag in a blank area of the form to create the chart.

Click the Queries button under View and then select the November Hours Worked query and then click Next.

Double-click the Last Name and Hours Worked fields.

Click Next four times.

Enter Total Hours Worked In November for the chart title.

Click the No, Don’t Display Legend button and then click Finish.

As you click through each employee’s record, the Graph control will display a bar chart for the employee, showing the total hours they worked in November 2007.
